Itane tumbles out of the void once more, landing in a crumbled heap on the ground. One look around the mine told him exactly what had happened - Practically everyone was just as bloodied as he was. Even the Kobold demon seemed quite heavily wounded. It seemed that, one way or another, this battle would be decided by the next set of blows.

Riding the mage's torrent of winds, the knight dives twards his opponent. He grasps his sword with both hands, trusting it out in front of him. Sure, the poison disorienated him, but perhaps if he added himself as a projectile, his blow would finally strike home! Regardless, he braced himself for impact, preparing his whole weight behind the tip.

It didn't take long to reach the target. Itane hammered into the creature's side, backed by the gale-force winds of the mage. He drove his sword down to the hilt into the Kobold before letting go, impacting once more with...the brunt of his body. A tremendous crack resounded throughout the cavern moments before Itane was sent flying.

He bounced off the demon and tumbled to a heap among his allies, dazed. His vision turned black as he continued to bleed out The knight only had the strength left to mutter four words - It was likely that no-one even heard his cracked voice. "D-did we..gnnh..g-get him..?" And with that, Itane blacked out. For how long.....only time would tell.

Pain. Intolerable pain. Itane's whole world seemed to implode as he was pulverised. Even as unconscious as he was, he felt it. The ground shook from the force of the blow, every bone in his body shattering, his corpse laying in a cloud of dust in a crater in the ground. Among the many ways to die, this was probably one of the more horrible.

Inside his mind, the Moluen's life flashed before his eyes. The many hours he spent playing with Sebastian at the temple. The training with the other recruits. Playing the role of Mercutio in that one play. Everything he ever was, every thing he ever did...it all seemed so meaningless in hindsight. If he was to die here and now, after all, what has he done with his life? Absolutely nothing.

Just as he shut his eyes and resigned his fate, welcoming death's cold embrace...it happened. The reaper was waled off by golden light. In fact, everything became golden - And warm. With a jolt, the battered knight sat upright in the crater, his whole body glowing. His bones were healed, his flesh mended - Not enough to stop huring, but just enough to keep him alive. He was still in pain. And oh, what a glorious pain it was. It simply made Itane feel alive!

Itane can't help but break out laughing as he climbs out of the crater. Oh, how good it was to be alive! Everything seemed new and exciting to him once more. The mines were a whole new world to him after his near-death experience! The Knight even goes so far as to bow before his killer. "I don't know what you did, but thank you for that. You've shown me what's truly important. Now...let's see who the TRUE failure is, yes? Engarde..!"

Dashing inbetween the mages' energy blasts, ducking under the Rogue's attacks, the knight rushed his foe once more. The Eviscerator went to destroy him once more - But Itane was ready this time. With no poison-enduced hallucinations, he easily managed to jump over the ax blade, bounding off the flat of it. With more acrobatics than he probably should have at the moment, Itane flipped over the beast's left shoulder, tumbling and landing on his sword. Grasping the hilt, he pulls it out with all his might, savagely cutting at the creature's hamstrings to bring it to his knees. Without pausing, he scampers up the Kobold's back, and tries to drive his sword down into it's skull, ending the battle once and for all.
