There's something wrong with the game it doesn't have the 3D backgrounds

There's something wrong with the game it doesn't have the 3D backgrounds
On the background problem, download the newest hellsinker patch from Ruminant Whimper and update your english patch.

lazy? no access?

rename one of the other background files to whatever it says is missing (bloodcell or something). The background will be slightly more trippy but that makes it better amirite.
