Pretty good. I liked it.

I like how detailed the story is at times, from setting environments to simulating what was meant to be shown. Its well-written.

It had a lore behind elements of the story and its characters, which if I would say so again, its really detailed.

It has a Story within a Story, per se. STORYCEPTION!(horrible pun)

It also had this "Anime"-ish feel, where have young people on combat units. It feels so Gundam or Macross/Robotech, both anime series which I attribute to be in my world of awesome.

The story's pacing though was REALLY SLOW.
Though, not saying it as a bad thing, but I think it is supposedly that.
As to have a bit realism when it comes to space travel.

I do, find myself sometimes just drowned in all the information give to me at one time. But just me, its an overall good story.

Character Breakdown:
-Martin Ghost- Shadow
>He comes off as like of those dudes who come to be as one of the main characters in the Gundam Saga(Gundam AGE went a bit far with 13 year old-looking children piloting Military Weapons of Mass Destruction). He really has that vibe as soon as you've written his background.
>As he settles in with the crew, he gets that "pretty boy" feel that just makes all the ladies swoon though not as much as Axel.
>Somewhat feels like a shota-like-character but I wouldn't recommend him being fully like that as it is going to be too out of character. He can be shota-like but not in the fullest extent.

-Sam Hart- Snipe
>We got here a hardened verteran, here. At first, I thought he's going to be somewhat a teacher to the younger crewmembers more especially to Martin, but seeing as they had no relation till the boarded the Karkus. I see no reason he'd be more inclined to teaching Martin with his experience on the field. Though here he was depicted as such a veteran, but not a teacher-character.
>However though, what interests me about him is his faith. I am really convinced that he's the most religion-dedicated individual in the whole crew. And seeing his beliefs dashed by a deadpan, hates everything in the world person, it makes you feel like you're struggling with him. Nice set up!
>I don't why I have to urge to talk like a pirate whenever I read his lines...

-Spriter Kid- SK
>[I haven't read too much character development from this character so far, awaiting till something significant is written]
>Understood that he's an AI. Though it more feels like he's the "Navi" of the story.

-Rumia Heather-
>I laughed when I read her last name was Heather, that was good laugh, I can see why she doesn't like that name. At first, I thought this girl was portrayed as a cute girly-girl, until she screams at Martin constantly.
It's pretty nice character tic I guess, the story does provide a really REALLY good image of her.
>She's a Tsundere character at the same time she is a bit Moe-like, I liked the combination a lot. It makes her really lovable by the readers; the way she acts and stuff -- its CUTE. Overall, she's fiesty and tough as nails.
>Hope no one starts this RumiaxSpectre thing unless you're the one starting it :X

-Axel-
>Every space crew or any crew in general needs to have a JERK every once in a awhile, and THIS GUY NAILS IT! I loved how antagonistic he can be and how he can simply get away with obviously wrong assumptions!
>However, readers may not like his attitude because of all his negativity. And how much of a Jerk he really can be. The structuring of his character is really good. His past is a bit shrouded in anonymity. But nonetheless, he is a somewhat "VITAL" part of the story. He was too much of a Jerk that the story didn't need him, but he was so much of a jerk that you'd like to keep him in.
>Peeps may really say that Axel deserves that beating from Caleb, anyways haters gotta hate~

-Jonathan Boxer O' Wracke- Boxer
>"Talkative" as Rumia attributes but it doesn't seem like that. Out of context, I somewhat imaged him as a muscle-bound tough guy who would make a good tactics officer. A "Sarge" or Sergeant, you may.
>He's proven the latter really well(tactics officer part)... The talkative part is more on him arguing with peeps on the communications and how much everyone argues like a married couple. Though I kinda see Rumia still outspeaks him. But oh well.
>He would really sound like the Marines from Black Mesa Source.

-Caleb-
>El capitan, ze? His image reminds me of the look of the Diva's young female Captain from Gundam AGE but with the Maturity of that of the captain Arch Angel from Gundam Seed(? correct me if I'm wrong). But, of course, a male counterpart.
>He's somewhat very reclusive and "silent," but his gives out the authoritative vibe amongst the crew and most of them respect him like from the latter said Gundam series. Though when he got violent with Axel, that there was some character development. I can't wait for more.

I'd love to read more of this... Keep going. There are concerns from here and there but it just needs a little of tweaking and you're awesome.
