[19:37:25] Garochu: to make that ring, i had to time it right
[19:37:52] Garochu: is there a way to do it without timing

The stuff that's above. I'd be great to know if there were a solution.

What I meant was:

-To make that oval thing with rolling panels, I had to be timing specific. As in, Time when another Rolling panel starts, that will start a chain, that will create something like shown in that picture above after some time.

-I wanted to find a way to do that Without proper timing method, and to make an instant oval.

However i have no idea how to execute something like that.

P.S.: TBE, I used a similar method. All I did is make three Rolling panels, Set the first one on Move action 9, and the other two on 10. The Second one's BP Dist. and the 3rd one's Center Dist. define the oval the way it should, as in, How wide and how open the oval pattern is. but i think that's the same method, yes? Because that's How I did This with an additional use of a move joint.

You can make 2 instances like that, but not more. and i am saddened.

Just so that I understand:

You want a oval that starts with one "light" then extends into n "lights". But you want it without all the timing calculations involved (or more appropriately, less timing).

The First half of that sentence is possible, the seconded half i'm not so sure.

TheBlueEcho « Tue May 01, 2012 6:22 pm » Take you time examining that, then. Try to understand the math behind the rolling/counter rolling parts and the Move/counter move parts, ok? (it's very simple math)

That's exactly it! @Pure&TBE

Thanks, Now I understand a bit more how that works.

Fine tuned it and included another one + generic oval (the one PQ showed you).
Edit: and a rotating one. you'll see what I mean.
