Something that I found out about by reading an article on Cracked.com

This website/community, in short, uses your computer's processing speed when it isn't being used and puts that power towards things like helping find a cure for AIDS. There is a list of what it helps with here.

For me, I can still roam around the internet and have the program going and I haven't noticed any lag to come from it.

Just thought I'd share this with you all.

That would be because it's not using your computer when you're roaming the internet. Silly Snipe.
