I think we need light to go crawling in these dark depths. And considering my Nightshade Knife... I'd have trouble seeing my weapon just in case anything attacks us...

Aaaurgh... the living...? Uh... minus that earth chunk through my chest... minus those blasted Kobolds...
Wait, how am I alive again? Ohh... best not to let that happen again... Assign 27 points to MHP, 16 points to CUR, 22 points to KNW, 15 points to AGI, 6 points to STR, and 4 points to INT. Equip Iron Mail Chestpiece, Beserking Wooden Cloak, and Steel Ring of the Mantle, unequip Simple Leather Tunic.
"I-I agree, sir. That was way too close an encounter. Perhaps we need to split into two groups... I'd like to hear to whom would you wish to travel with."
He meant 'you' as in 'all of you'.
And as he suited up and fixed himself, taking into mind the harrowing experience, he made a mental note of whom he should accompany. All of them were likely candidates. He had a particular liking for the Moluen, despicable as his race might be, he seems to be a fairly bookish being, and that James enjoyed; being in the presence of someone that cared for literature.
"As for myself, I would wish to take the Moluen along... speaking of which, we haven't even named ourselves. My name's James Zeke," conveniently foregoing the Sir, "and I apologize for the trouble that I may have lead us into. How about you?"

"I'm certainly for a trip to the mines, though I agree we may not be in the best of positions for it."
Extania pulls himself up using his staff. "The fights will only get worse from here on out."

"That depends," said the Moluen, doing a mental asset of the damage, "who of you would stay back in that case? Just for starters, I wouldn't."

As the dirt and dust that Itane had kicked up settled, the Moluen could finally see his foe - And more importantly, the damage he had done. He squints as the shadows began to take shape, the cloud drifting away....revealing nothing behind it. He was startled by the Kobold's disappearing act, his jaw dropping, eyes going wide in shock. He was sure he had hit the target - Positive of it, even! But if so...where was he?
Itane raises his sword slowly, looking at the edges of it. No blood. Then, perhaps...yes. There was sorcery at work here. That was the only explanation. With a heavy sigh, the critter swishes his tail along the ground, quite annoyed. He was expecting a battle, not hide and seek! "Where are you, huh? Scared of little old me? Pitiful! Show yourself and fight!"
Safe to say, Itane was enraged at this point. This was in part by the Kobold's cowardice, but mostly due to how adrenalized the enchanted cloak made him feel. Without waiting for the leader to show it's face, he spins on his heels and rushes straight twards the other kobold. His sword was held down at an angle, dragging in the dirt behind him, throwing up yet another cloud.
The bulwark had evidently been preparing itself for an attack - It's legs were spread more, it's weight more evenly distributed along the ground. The demon - For, to the frenzied knight, it was a demon - stayed put as it was charged, it's arms held at it's side. Evidently, the Bulwark was a defensive fighter, using some form of martial arts to divert the opponent 's force against them.
Feinting left and striking right, Itane swept his sword at the demon. Once more, he aimed to cleave a monster in twain with a single blow. At the last second, the Bulwark grabbed the flat of Itane's blade inbetween it's claws, yanking and twisting the sword out of the knight's hands. It soared through the air and embedded itself in the ground to the side, the kobold's face sprouting into a smug grin.
Undeterred, Itane dropped to the ground and swept at the creature's legs. It wouldn't be the single-shot killing blow that he had hoped, but it was just enough to knock his foe off-balance. As the Kobold stumbled, the knight drove his claws into it's shoulders, grabbing at what he could and yanking down. Before the empowered Kobold could return, he had to retrieve his weapon - And so, Itane bounded off the Bulwark's back, running over to his blade and unearthing it. He swivels around on his heels and swings at the air, ready for whatever would be thrown at him.
Itane attacks the Kobold Bulwark.

Extania takes a moment to get his bearings, and then focuses on the monstrous opponent before them.
