Rather than staggering back as the arrow hits, Mykael uses its momentum to turn round and fire another bolt from his sceptre at the enchanter.

Arbus quickened his pace towards the last remaining kobold, delivering a swift kick, foot to jaw, kobold to ground.

Attack the last kobold.

"I'd suggest we keep going as a group. We made it this far. We can take more enemies! Look, the area's back to normal now, too."
>Suggest going as a group, and keep going. Equip the Rubber Chainmail Helm and the Iron Chainmail Chestpiece of the Crust.

As the knight reaches the mines, he can feel his cloak becoming immensely cold against his skin - He stops and shivers as the magic takes hold, his teeth chattering quite loudly. Then, as quickly as it had started, it was over - He was back to his normal warm self, the cloak melded to his skin, providing quasi-permanent protection to his back.

Outside of the mine, he met the Seer once more - It seems her message wasn't as cryptic as it sounded. After hailing the kobold down, and a few brief moments of idle chatter, the Knight receives a pair of skill books. It seems that his friend the Seer had them laying around and couldn't get rid of them, and thought they would help her first customer in ages - Even if it took her this long to find them.

He departs and heads into the mines, preparing to flip through the books and look at their secrets - Only to walk straight into a trap. The world around him seems to warp and twist, becoming a contorted shadow of it's former self. Infront of him stood a pair of Kobolds - One seemingly unassuming, evidently prepared to beat the knight to death. It was his companion that was the more threatening of the pair - He was large. Much larger than any kobold Itane had seen thus far. It glowed a bright gold color, beams of light arcing off of it in every which way. To further emphasize it's uniqueness, lightning crackled in the air around it. It carried a rather plain, unassuming knife that looked like it belonged more with a cook than such a demon.

The Moluen gulped and took a cautionary step back as he took the foe in, his hand shaking slightly. He wasn't prepared for anything of the sort - Was this really the end? To die in this mine for none to find ever? As the doubt filled his mind, something strange happened - His cloak began to burn red hot. Yet, despite this magic, it didn't burn - Rather, it filled Itane with newfound hope, with courage - And, most importantly, it filled him with strength.

The knight glanced between his foes - And began to laugh. He couldn't help it, he was just so excited for a fight! He unsheathes his sword and points it at the pair of creatures, his books forgotten.
"Well now, this certaintly promises to be fun. Don't dissapoint me now, you hear? Things are just beginning to get interesting. And I never COULD satisfy my curiosity~"

With a coy grin, the knight dashes at the magical Kobold, keeping low to the ground. He brushes past the Bulwark and jumps over a low sweep from the kobold, feeling invincible while wearing his cloak. He stops short of his enchanted foe, stopping himself from running into the path of a swipe from the knife. With a grin, he bolts off to the side, running twards the wall. He looked over his shoulder, smirking as he reaches the wall.

Without stopping, he runs straight up it, his claws digging into the walls for support. About halfway up, he turns and pushes off, diving straight at the Kobold. He soars past another wild blow, his cheek just being barely nicked by the Kobold's blade. Still, he was too elated to care about the minor pain - He just laughed it off as he drove his sword home, striking his target with the edge of his blade. He drew blood - he was sure of it! Itane hits the ground behind his foes rolling, quickly standing and settling into a defensive pose before they can react.
"Engarde, good sirs. Engarde!"

Itane Kunor attacks the Charged Demi-God Kobold Drone.

[Equip 'Iron Chainmail Chestpiece of the Winds']
[Equip 'Simple Flesh Pantaloons']

The darkness seems to like me.

All is well, Emma, wasn't it? I shall walk with thee on this journey of the depths. Seems like being alone is a horrible fate.

As he lifted the armour into place, Mykael turned to the rest of his group. "That was a rather interesting encounter. I'm afraid this was exactly what I feared. Our group attracts too much attention from the forces below." Placing the iron amulet around his neck, he stared thoughtfully, if motionless of face, at the corpses. "How ought we proceed? I suggest we head into the mines now, but not as we are."

I clearly haven't been trained, I feel worn out...
He lays to a wall and rest, but not before equipping
Iron Chainmail Chestpiece of Fear and then backing out a bit.
