Completely rendered unconscious... the last thing going through was that... maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all.

The Knight seemingly drops like a rock from his dive twards the Kobold a the elder's shout. His encounter had ended, and all hostilities simply ceased just like that, almost as if the mines were controleld by some form of magic. Still, Itane didn't complain too much - As much as he refused to admit it, the Kobold's blows hurt. The Molulen made a mental note to find some better armor as he followed the elder back to their village. Who knows - Maybe he'd have luck in their village or something. After all, the unusual tribe of Kobolds seemed docile enough now that they weren't trying to kill him.

Itane trailed not to terribly far behind the elder, nodding in agreement as his questions.
"Indeed - The legends back at the Prism Temple say you're...well. They seem to emphasize how you should be slain on sight. However, after meeting you, I'm...not too sure about that anymore..." The Knight trails off slightly as he received his explanation, taking more mental notes over the entire situation. Unable to resist helping a people in need, he bows before the Elder. "After how hospitable you've been to me - First impression misunderstanding aside - How could I, Sir Itane Kunor, a Knight of the Prism Temple, possibly decline? Of course I'll help..!" Graciously, Itane takes the handful of white rocks, fumbling them around in his paws a few times as he learns how these Iota Chips are spent. After carefully pocketing the currency, and bowing once more, the Moluen departs.

His first stop was to find a torch. Considering how the tribe seemed to be a sort of mining community, it shouldn't be too difficult a task. The knight checked a few shops around the village, to little avail - He could of bought furniture from the first shop, clothing from the second to break apart and turn into makeshift torches, yes. But that would of been expensive! His third stop seemed to be more fruitful - It seemed to be an excavation shop. There were such things as ropes and mining picks around the walls, but what really caught his attention was the small section of magical artifacts in the building. Intrigued by the promise of an enchanted cloak, he purchased the cloth and put it in his bag along with his torch.

After his purchase, he sought out a seer to identify what his newly obtained cloak could do for him. Just because it was magical didn't mean he understood what it did - And the kindly woman who ran the explorer shop while her husband was off doing his duties didn't seem to remember either. Finding the seer wasn't too difficult - The Moluen simply stuck out his nose and followed the smell of incense. Seeing as there was no line, and no discernible sign that said the tent was closed, he ducked inside the tent.

Immediately, Itane was blasted by the heavy scent of the tent's interior. It was a sort of occult smell, thick enough to almost be visible as a fog. Spotting a sign on the wall about identification rates, the Moluen sits at the table, a crystal ball resting on light purple tablecloth between him and the seer. Carefully, he places his cloak next to the ball on his right, and slides his payment across the left.
"What can you tell me about this..? I know it's enchanted, but I don't quite know how..!"

That knight just got nailed to the wall through about half of his chest cavity.

Arbus attacks the wizard.

Itane thanked the Seer for her services and tied the cloak around his neck - He wasn't sure what the curse risk did for him precisely, but that was alright with him. Any knight worth his salt welcomed a little risk - And, minus that fact, it didn't seem to be harmful in any way. He left the tent, receiving a parting a cryptic message of how they would soon meet again real soon.

The Knight's next stop on his continued rest was to visit the Arena - Not to compete or anything, but to spectate. He settled into the stands between all the kobolds to watch today's fight - From the red team was an archer or a ranger of some sort. He had studded leather armor on with a quiver with about twenty or so arrows on his back. In one hand he held a shortbow, and hanging from his waist were a pair of daggers. Across from him, from the blue team, was a warrior or fighter. He wore no armor, but held an immense battle-axe with both hands.

Among the stands, money changed hands as bets were placed on the victor - It seemed today's fight would be to the death. The announcer introduced the pair - Evidently newbies to the arena - and gave a count down for the start of the fight - Neither of which Itane paid attention too. His eyes were on the fighters alone - At the very least, he could maybe learn some tricks about the Kobolds from the brawl.

With the ring of a bell, the fight begins: Immediately, the archer launched an arrow at the warrior, who cleaved it mid-flight with a mighty swing of his axe. Not giving the Red-Team combatant time to recover, he charged, axe dragging in the sand behind him. He ran into the archer sholder-first, knocking the wind out of his opponet & knocking him to the ground.

The archer seemed to fumble on the ground, evidently in a bad spot. However, lucky for him - The Blue Team was known for showboating. The Warrior raised his axe up high and turned his back to face the crowds, basking in their cheers. Silently, the archer drew his daggers and was about to pick himself up, only to be forced back to the ground by another swing of the Warrior's axe. It sliced through the air just a hair's breadth away from the archer's neck. The Warrior spin with his axe and brought it overhanded, aiming for his opponet's chest and to finish the fight with one blow.

At the last possible second, the nimble archer rolled out of the way and jumped to his feet, thrusting both daggers into the Warrior's neck - Much to the chagrin of the crowds. He walked out of the arena to a booming echo of boos - It seems the blue team was the fan favorite.

Disappointed in how little he learned from the fight, the Knight gets up and leaves the arena as they clean up the mess - He had a quest to get back to. Without much further ado, he left to the Mines, torch at the ready in his left hand, sword in the right.

Itane Kunor equips his new cloak & delves into the mines to explore.

In the wake of the gust of wind from his wings, Mykael brandished his sceptre, sending an attack towards the archer.

Arbus was on the ground, clutching the sharp bit of wood in his chest. The sharp, burning bit.

It's not in the heart or the lung he thought or I'd be dead by now.

And the wound is probably cauterized. he decided against pulling it out outright.

Shakily, he scrambled to his feet and glared at the archer, with eyes full of unrefined hate.

It was my favourite robe too.

Attack the archer.

"Charus, right? Listen, the Acolyte looks like he's about to die, and he's really squishy. The commander looks like he has a lot to give still. We have to think this through. How about I kill the Acolyte and you use Torrent on the Commander?"
