Huh. That's a huge temple. Good thing the village is in a cave. Discretion would be terrible otherwise.
Chebraghol and the assorted troops decided on a quick course of action, crashing in through the westmost wall.

No sooner had the wall collapsed than the entire room had exploded into chaos. They had interrupted a service, the Priest discussing something about the shadows leading them towards dominion over the realm. A group of guards, armed with blades, rushed towards the intruding group, striking at bone and flesh. The Priest raised his left hand and began chanting in a strange tongue. An invisible force bound Chebraghol, and although the priest could not negate his full strength, it was sufficient to slow him. Hand still raised, the priest began slowly walking backwards.

Chebraghol was not amused, he lifted his axe and tossed it at the priest with all the power he could bring.
At the same moment, the skeletons put an admirable fight against the guards, holding their own well. Lack of internal organs or a sense of pain was certainly a big factor in that. While their adversaries bled and screamed, they just pushed on forward.
And then the sentinel joined the fray.

The axe sliced through the priest, leaving a deep wound and splatting blood across the wall. He stood standing, barely. Grabbing the edge of a nearby stone slab, engraved with the same symbol as outside, he thrust with what little strength he had. The panel moved, slightly, before the Priest collapsed in a heap. A long, black claw curled around the stone, pushing it aside. Five demons stormed into the room from a tunnel behind the wall, ready to attack.
The zombies rushed behind the Sentinel as it appeared, knowing what would occur next. The Sentinel unleashed a massive bellow of fire, reducing the guards to cinders. The most impatient of the demons attempted to jump the Sentinel and received an uppercut to the jaw.

Chebraghol unfastened the hammer, it was long since it worked metal, now it would tenderize meat. As the beasts poured from the new opening, he leapt forward with almost the same enthusiasm as them, bashing away at any bone yet unbroken. Two of them fell quickly, alive, but in no condition to do anything but crawl, their appendages twisted in various directions, calcified fragments visible through torn skin.
Chebraghol lifted the hammer again, about to bring it down on another snarling wretch.

By this time the worshipers had long fled in the face of the horde of undead fighting their "saviours." All that remained was Chebraghol and co., fighting off the dozen or so demons that had exited via the passageway. Eight were left, between the Sentinel and Chebraghol's attacks.

Taking cover proved to be a much more successful strategy. Both Ophelia and Csiphe made it to a large boulder without any further wounds, and began their respective chants. Ophelia was the first to break cover, flaming shield surrounding her, and began hurling her wind cutters at the bandits. One took a cutter to the stomach as he unwisely broke cover to fire, and he tumbled back behind his boulder with a cry. There were just three bandits left, and that was quickly reduced to two as Csiphe's lightning bolt seared through the air, seizing and electrocuting one of the ruffians. Suddenly, the other two burst out from their cover and fled across the open plain. One of the two was hit by in the calf by a Wind Cutter, and stumbled with a yelp, but carried on running. Whatever their faults, they were pretty fast.

Chebraghol pulled the hammer out of the head and went on swinging amidst the claws and fangs, making a blunt trauma path towards his axe.

These demons were smaller than the ones at Suma. The Sentinel decapitated two with quick swipes of sharp edged hands. It plunged its hand through another, tearing out the heart. There was one left at this point.

Chebraghol pulled his axe out of the human corpse, in this moment the last remaining beast leapt on his back and grabbed tightly, hissing as it did. Apparently it tried to crush him, or maybe strangulate him or something, but the demon's body was too large to grasp fully, let alone overpower with such measely, short appendages.
Ironically, the length of his own arms and the vast bulk of his torso made it impossible to just grab the damn thing off his back. Chebraghol tried to shake it off, but in return the beast just sank it's claws deeper. After ten full seconds of the theatre, he had finally had enough of this, leapt in the air and drove himself down - back first, slamming the beast into the rocky ground with a loud crash.
"Feisty things." He said standing up, before crushing the still living beast's skull under his right foot.
