Outwardly this manifested in a single brief "Hmpf".

Extania grabbed a book at random and flipped through it. "Quite right though regarding the age. I haven't seen these characters for at least 1500 years."

He blew the dust from the pages. "And these books don't look quite like they're that old."

Arbus examined the savage Kobold beasts. One of them wore tattered purple robes, face paint and overall, seemed to tower over his lesser bretheren.

"Yes, that one. Looks like a mage to me."

Arbus drew his iron knife from the hip. It did not see much use outside of kitchen cuttlery, aside from the odd wolf or brigand.

The place is pitch black, I don't think I can really progress further on this path.
