To clarify; you don't say one is *obliged* to, but it would be helpful if such opinions were stated. In a single sample, no individual is required to give their opinions, regardless of their viewpoint. Think about voting in an election. You can vote for one candidate over another but you're not expected to a) reveal what your ballot said or b) give a detailed justification of your vote.

I'm going to break convention here, but this isn't that kind of a poll.

Ignore the damn numbers at the top if that will help.

Instead focus on the fact I'm trying to reach a consensus. I'm trying to reach a solution that everyone will be happy with.

That's why I want opinions. Personally, I don't care what you voted for, I just want to know your reasoning. However, that simple goal requires you to reveal your vote, then so be it.

I'd at least hope that'd all of you who care enough to vote would care enough to reach some sort of agreement. This won't be fun for either party if we keep this same split division.

(For the record I agree that any average poll should be anonymous, as in you shouldn't give your reasoning. However, this isn't an average poll. I want opinions. I'll I've gotten so far is Dualer's and Rumia's. Everyone else either said "great", nothing, or "bad". I'd like a little more than that. Providing an empty threat might push some others to post opinions.)
