The main reason I'm pissed isn't because of the change, it's refusal to inform me about them before you did it.

Imagine, for a moment, that the UFF is someones' house.

What you did would be akin to tearing it down and building a completely new one in its' place, without informing the owner.

While said owner was still inside.

(In this scenario, replace "house" with "UFF" and "owner" with "Other admins")

One slight issue with that boss. You weren't in the house.

At least you weren't in the house for the structural changes.

Just the minor cosmetic stuff.

(also I wouldn't mind. Because in this scenario the house would be better after the remodel. So why would I be mad if someone came and made my house better? I mean it was free even!)

That is an interesting definition of owner. Personally, I'd put owner at "Community". Either way, this is off topic.

I think you should enable people to change their vote, IE, and also set a deadline. Then through discussion, we can reach a better consensus.

as much as I know a recount would be silly, I do realize the need for such a thing.


However, I'll wait for one more person (anybody) to suggest it.

Recounts always help reliability; I suggest we ought to. Only fair.

My vote was to keep it as I had planned it. However, I'm not so stubborn, I am willing to compromise.

I like the new, more concise look more. Fix it up and let's go.
