Your Auto-Retaliation Portal Defense System already gives your the defense rolls you need, so you instead try to enhance the boost staff with magic.

In the center of the room on the floor, you can see a design of a giant clock, the design glowing unlike the rest of the dark room. The three arms of the clock design are pointing towards the entrances of the corridors that extends out of this room (you came here by stairs, by the way). The longest arm is pointing at "II", which is the direction one corridor is, the second longest arm is pointing at "XII", which is where another direction of a corridor is, and the shortest arm is pointing at the "IX", where the direction where another corridor entrance. All the corridors appear the same. You push against the bricks of this room in search of a secret passage, but alas, there is none-yet anyways.
Location: Chamber of Temporal Interstice - Dial of Time

You eventually make your way out of the portal, landing in the middle of large field, with a desert to you on one side, and a forest to you on another. There's also a path that leads to in interstice between two tall cliffs. Looking up, you see a that it appears to be night time-yet what appears to be the sun is in the sky for some reason. What logic is this?

Little Note: Note on using summoned weapons to enhance your attacks or spellcasts that you must state that you're using the weapon in your action if you want to use the bonus attack stats the weapon gives. Otherwise, I'll assume that you're not using the summoned weapon even if that's the only weapon you have, since there's a possibility that you might not want to use up the limit or some other reason.

You create an advanced Shadow Drone out of dormant un-energy (whatever that is). However, it cannot seem to function by itself so far. Maybe you require an item of some sort? It seems that summoning and creating minions is a lot more difficult in this reality.
