"Alright. We should probably get more stuff before moving on. Wonder how everyone else is doing."

Just before his sword hit home, Itane was knocked aside by a gust of wind. Luckily for him, this put out the flames. However, the knight's luck was short-lived. Battered as he was, Itane bounced and rolled along the ground a few times, leaving impressions in the dirt and a trail of blood behind. The Moluen only stops once he hits a wall, coughing up more blood, his vision becoming quite hazy. He didn't even have the strength to pick himself up off the ground anymore - His reserves were spent.

Slowly, the broken creature crawls behind a Stalagmite. He tried to catch his breath, hoping his allies could handle the kobold behind him. Still short of breath, Itane pulls out one of the books the fortune teller had delivered. He'd need a miracle to bounce back from his condition. And perhaps...perhaps the secrets of ancient knights before him would provide just that. Despite only seeing shades of red, Itane opened the tome and began to read as fast as he could, devoting each word to memory.

Arbus figures that the staff ought to have some magic juice within.
And while it sounds ridiculous to your average peon, there is a good way to let the magic juice out.

Arbus shakes his mighty staff at the eviscerator.

Inside the old tome were the secrets of the Planar Knights. Rumored to be warriors from another dimension, this order of knights were feared for their ability to traverse through the elemental planes. They could tear open rifts and simply vanish from existence, only to become once more behind enemy lines. Granted, the details were a bit skeptical, but Itane could still make out enough to give the technique a try.

With another cough of blood, Itane stands up. His skin still prickled and burned quite painfully from the flames. In the back of his mind, drums began to play. Or at least, the dull, constant throbbing seemed like drums. Perhaps...perhaps it was a hallucination on part of the poison? That would make sense. Taking one last look at the book, Itane devoted the last page's contents to memory. He scarcely had time to finish before the book simply ceased to exist - Perhaps one of the Planar Knights wanted it back?

With a shrug, the Moulen slashed his sword at the air. The blade glowed a gentle blue, a hole opening up in the air before Itane. Without a moment's hesitation, Itane leaped inside before it could seal. Around him was white. White as far as the eye could see. It couldn't get any more white in a hospital. And yet, despite how unsettling it was, the place seemed quite calming. Even if his impromptu respire was short, it certainly felt well-deserved. Itane simply drifted off for what felt like a century, waiting for his vision to return to normal.

After the few seconds he spent in the void, Itane felt reinvigorated and ready to go. Slashing at the air once more, he dived back into the battle. A tear in the fabric of reality opened above the Kobold, drawing in the healing energy he let off. Itane's wounds began to close, the dull throbbing vanishing from his mind. Not even bothering with a war cry this time, Itane dropped from the sky, cleaving at the monster's back mid-fall. When he hit the ground, the Moluen rolled, settling into another defensive stance among his new allies.

"Sorry for the wait. Let's get back to business, shall we?

As the Eviscerator rammed into his barely lifted shield, Mykael whipped his wings forwards to send a gust towards the monster.

In the midst of the battle, Arbus feels a slight breeze around his neck.

The amulet, of course!

A small incantation seems to be engraved round the zirconium rim. A verbal invocation.

Arbus chants gravely as he points the amulet at the eviscerator.
