It conveys one of the worse kind of human expression and activity.
(Not worst, though, there are a lot of things worse than annoying and trolling.)
Aaaaaand who gives a shit about that? It's not relevant to the debate; I picked the trollface partly because it would aggravate some of you, and partly because it's a perfect example of the point I'm making, and partly because it is a perfect example of the point I'm making BECAUSE it's going to aggravate some of you.

But there's the thing, see? It conveys trolling SO DAMN WELL. Do you see a clichéd stock expression there? Only in the sense that it's become one - but if you're going to use it, you have to use the whole thing. There's nothing there you can just cut out of it and stick onto some other face and it'll look like anything other than just plain weird.

If you want scenery porn, that's not necessarily limited to anime. Anime happens to have it, but it isn't an inherent trait.
Must be a coincedence Ive hardly seen it anywhere outside of anime and feature length animated films.

...when the fuck did this thread turn into "Anime vs. other animation"?

Since this:
Dabir wrote:Proposition: This House believes that the trollface is a better example of art than 99% of expressions in anime.
The entire topic is pretty much targeting anime, or rather its art style, or I am missing the point.
Dabir wrote:Ever seen a classic Disney film?
Classic Disney films were never long, not even the famed ones. Or at least around half the length of today's films.

Also Alex does have a point, other animation rarely if ever has lots of detail.

Hmm, don't know if that is anime-esque, but well yeah.

Also, a thing I've noted:
Phineas and Ferb also suffers from C-mouth syndrome.
And so does a lot of other shows.
Problem?
(Note: I do know that side angle is not conductive to other-shaped mouth, but come on.)
