Nothin' out of the ordinary here.
If possible, take a candle from the wall to use as a light source, then go through the door that's closest to the candle I took. If possible, walk down whatever's there until something interesting or relevant happens / is spotted.

As a side note, I reworked items too. Using items can be free action, regardless of what kind they are. You can use as many a turn as you like. They will always work, unless they were never intended too in the first place. If you wish to roll with item use, they can have varied effects, obviously.

It appears this reality is unstable. I must correct this issue.
